Abstract
A small-signal model for a zero-voltage-transition soft switching power factor correction converter is derived in This work. The averaging method for two-time scale discontinuous system and averaged power method are used to derive the small-signal mathematical model for a ZVT soft-switching PFC converter when the input current tracks the reference current. The accuracy of the developed model is verified by experimental measurement. It shows that the model is dependent upon the switching frequency.
