Abstract :
Fault-tolerant controllers with online accommodation using model predictive control, linear quadratic controller and the pseudo inverse method are compared. In a real-time implementation, controllers are tested under actuator faults like saturation, freezing and total loss as well as under a structural fault. The advantages and disadvantages as well as the limits of the algorithms are considered.
