  • Abstract
Based on rough sets theory, from the view of Pansystems soft observation, two pieces of paradoxes in GIS are discussed in this paper. And then the reason and the resolution of the two paradoxes are presented. At the same time the relationship between the two paradoxes is analyzed and a further understanding of paradox and rough sets theory is acquired
