  • Abstract
    Energy harvesting from standing waves on ribbon like membranes of polyvinylidene fluoride is investigated. At resonance, the energy density of 2 mW/gm suffices to power a ring oscillator load. A scaling law for harvestable energy as a function of ribbon length is developed.
