  • Abstract
    This paper introduces an intelligent streetlight energy-saving system based on LonWorks power line communication technology. It uses LonWorks power line communication technology to realize the networking of streetlight equipments and collects and analyzes the operation condition of streetlights based on i.LON SmartServer, combined with Streetlight Vision Monitoring Software to achieve the streetlights´ remote monitoring and scheduling so as to achieve the network management of streetlight equipments and the target of energy saving and emission reduction. In this paper, it specifically introduces the overall structure of the system and the technical details, structure, functions and characteristics of the various components and analyzes the economic and environmental benefits achieved from the application of the system.
