Abstract :
In this Paper, we proposed a high performance TCAM (Ternary Content Addressable Memory) for High Frequency Search Operation. In the present, the demand for Smart Devices, Table Devices of various types is rapidly increasing which results in the need for 3D Image Processing such as gesture recognition and motion detection. As a solution for this problem we need high performance processor, such as Intelligent Network Processor, or 3D Vision processor. Eventually, high performance TCAM is needed because it can be used for High Frequency Search Operation. However, we have to consider many important parameters to develop the TCAM. Therefore, we experimented to find the important parameters to design TCAM. All the simulation results are based on TSMC 180nm. The Simulation result has been compared with power consumption at 50 MHz, 500 MHz and 1GHz. Hence, we could achieve that Selective Charging MLSA is the best of comparable structures at high efficiency for Power Consumption Variation rate and Power Consumption Amount.
