Abstract :
This paper focuses on the dynamic of excitation, proposes a new dynamic model of Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) through analyzed the change of system transient potential. Base on this, we present 5 output functions of multi-index, which include the state-index as voltage, real power and reactive power etc, with the design of multi-index nonlinear. Then, solve the analytical expressions of the control laws. At last, give another control law of general nonlinear for comparison in the simulation to demonstrate its excellent results to improve the stability of power system. And the simulation results show that in the multi-index nonlinear controller, UPFC can effectively improve the dynamic quality and transient stability of power system.
