Abstract :
Optical powers generated through four-wave mixing process in single-mode transmission lines are measured by the teehnique utilizing a heterodyne receiver and a lock-in detector. The generated powers of approximately 0.2 nW are measured suceessfully for input powers below 1 mW at the wavelengths of 1286 nm and 155O nm.
