            Abstract : 
We studied experimentally and numerically, around 1400 nm, the excitation of quadratic temporally self-trapped ultra-short pulses in a bulk periodically poled stoichiometric lithium tantalate (PPSLT) crystal in presence of large group velocity mismatch.
