Abstract
A number of different CIM architectures have been proposed by several researchers, all aiming at the easiest and most efficient integration of different sectors of manufacturing activities. Allowing such architectures to adapt over time, following short and long-term modifications in information flow in the organization remains however an unaddressed (and very complex indeed) problem. In this paper the dynamic modelling and management of a network of decision-makers involved in manufacturing is attempted through the use of connectionist paradigms
