Abstract
THALES ELECTRON DEVICES (TED) has developed a new generation of modular Microwave Power Modules (MPM) to cover various military applications; The MPM is a complete microwave amplifier that includes a travelling Wave Tube (TWT), a Solid Sate Power Amplifier (SSPA) and a high-density power supply. TED has pushed the MPM state of the art in term of average power versus frequency (200W 6/18 GHz and 80W 18/40 GHz).
