Abstract :
L3 EDD has developed a new, low power Ku-band MPM, the M1870. The amplifier is significantly smaller than current MPM offerings and addresses a market underserved by SSPAs due to their SWAP limitations. MPM output power is 40 W nominal from 14.4 to 15.4 GHz with an efficiency of 25% in a 1.5 lb package.
