Abstract :
An X-Band sheet beam electron optics system was successfully designed and tested. The beam voltage and current are 150 kV and 100 A, respectively. The beam transverse dimension is 50 mm×4 mm. The total length between the cathode and the collector is about 300 mm. The preliminary experiment shows 92.4% DC transmission has been attained at the voltage of 110 kV.
