Abstract :
This paper described a new kind of quasi-optical resonant system for the extended interaction devices. Primary theoretical and simulation results show that this newly developed device has advantages both in modes selectivity and coupling enhancement with the electrons. A demonstration of this resonant system is carried out in W band. This may be utilized to design a compact, tunable and powerful extended interaction devices working from millimeter wave to even terahertz frequency.
