Abstract :
To classify risks is not easy. This is because risks may belong to several classes or they may change classes with time. Hence, it may not always be efficient to just assign one class to one risk. It may be more informative to provide risk profiles instead in which one risk may belong to several classes. In this paper, we suggest a new way of classifying risks by suggesting risk profiles. The new classification has been elicited within fifty eight software companies.
