Abstract :
The technique of determining the chemical and phase composition of the emissive material in the process of vacuum thermal treatment. The method is based on the division of the vacuum thermo process into intervals within which the system was considered a quasi-equilibrium. In its turn, determining the structure of equilibrium during each time slice consisted in the determination of such chemical and phase composition at which the system had a maximum value of entropy. The method has allowed to abandon the classical concept of chemical reaction, and allowed the effective implementation of a computer. The methods are used to study the vacuum thermal process of oxide cathodes.
