Abstract
In this paper, we developed an algorithm, TCCSA (Three-dimension Cluster Centroid Searching Algorithm) based on RSSI (received signal strength indicator). A theorem was suggested and rigorous mathematical proof was given. TCCSA finds the node which is nearest to the centroid of a cluster by using the theorem to reveal hidden information while nodes in a cluster communicate with each other. In the simulation, the relationship between the location error of TCCSA and the density of nodes, Gaussian random variable which is the disturbance from environment are been studied. TCCSA can be applied to modifying the clustering of wireless sensor networks and the shape control of robot team.
