  • Abstract
    The broadband emission spectrum and comparably long lifetimes of 6 ms for the 1530 nm transition in Er3+-ions in tellurite fibres has enabled the development of flat-gain multi-channel amplifiers for C- and L-bands in a single device, which can also be pumped with 980 nm and 1480 nm pumps simultaneously
