Abstract :
Under the integrated influences of global climate changes and overgrazing, China rangeland has degraded over recent years. Fuhai County is located in the north margin of Junggar basin and its range land has experienced expansive degradation. The eco-migration policy are launched respectively by local government in 1998 and 2006. In order to analyze the regional effects of ecological migration, we evaluated the first time ecological migration and discussed the second time ecological migration project according to field survey of grazing intensity and using situation of the grassland in Altai Region. The result shows that the first time ecological migration never solve the contradiction between development of people and livestock and ecological balance. Spring fall range land and summer range land overloading severely also, the overloading rate reached to 77.1% and 74.8%. Though the second time ecological migration causing some impacts to grassland culture, and it may affect the environment of immigration ground, it hold back the degenerate of the grassland essentially and improve the herds menpsilas standard of living by enclosure to prevent grazing, rear livestock in pens, returning cropping land to forage land and various production management. And it create firmly foundation for the development of modern animal husbandry and resources sustainable using.
