Abstract :
In this paper, we report on a simple ytterbium-doped-fiber (YDF) pulse laser with a Fabry-Perot resonator. This fiber laser oscillator consisted of FBGs (fiber Bragg gratings) instead of conventional mirrors. This pulse laser requires neither polarization control nor compensation of birefringence and intracavity dispersion. To our knowledge, the YDF oscillator described here is the simplest composition
