Abstract :
In this paper, the beam-wave interaction in a two-stage fundamental gyroklystron amplifier is studied by using a self-consistent nonlinear simulation code. The electron efficiency and the gain for this gyroklystron are calculated. The effect of various parameters including the drift tube length, voltage and current on the electron efficiency is studied.
