Abstract :
We present an efficient routing protocol, called as multiple next hops (MNH) routing protocol, which is based on an ad-hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) routing protocol for ad-hoc networks. The proposed MNH protocol establishes multiple paths during the route discovery procedure. This saves network bandwidth and reduces route reconstruction time when a routing path fails. The numerical experiments are given to show the effectiveness of the MNH routing protocol
