Abstract :
The characteristics of ultra-wideband Vivaldi radiators both single antennas and antenna arrays were investigated. Antenna Vivaldi includes the original feeding system, which does not contain a cavity. The possibility of expanding of radiator frequency band by using radar-absorbing elements was investigated It is shown that the operating frequency band of Vivaldi radiator in the array in the plane of the electric field vector is considerably extended in the direction of lower frequencies.
