Abstract :
A universal data acquisition system for radar applications is described. Advances of the object programming and the multithread approach for the development of such systems are demonstrated. Examples are given of the application of the developed data acquisition system for such different radar systems as an airborne side-looking dual frequency radar for remote sensing applications and coherent 36 and 94 GHz radar systems for cloud studies
