Abstract :
A concentrated effort was begun to introduce nonintrusive diagnostics systems into the test facilities wherever possible. The author describes the efforts made, the results obtained, and the plans underway to achieve the goal of providing state-of-the-art diagnostics instrumentation in all the operating facilities. A survey of the work that has been accomplished and the ongoing development is reviewed, including a low-speed large water tunnel and some development concepts being studied
