Abstract :
In this article, we develop the vector-valued multiresolution analysis and the biorthogonal vector-valued wavelets. The existence of biorthogonal vector-valued compactly supported wavelets associated with a pair of biorthogonal vector-valued compactly supported scaling functions is studied. A novel method for designing a class of biorthogonal vector-valued finitely supported wavelet functions is proposed by means of multiresolution analysis and time-frequency analysis.
