Design of rule object model for business rule systems

Business rules are business statements that define some aspect of a business. They describe, constrain and control the structure, operations and strategy of the business. In this paper, we analyze business rules and business rule systems, and present requirements and considerations for the business rule expression and system. We also propose architecture of business rule system and a business rule object model that is basis model for the proposed system.
