            Abstract : 
We present 1.25Gb/s burst mode optical receiver for Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) systems Using 0.35um CMOS technology. The important feature of the receiver uses AC-coupled scheme and Auto Gain Control (AGC) circuit. The designed receiver has a sensitivity of –27dBm and a overload of –6d8m at 1.25Gb/s optical input signal.
