Abstract :
The microwave transmitters are used for variety of applications in the fields of communications, radar and Electronic Attack. The airborne transmitter design should address the needs like size, weight, primary electrical power, efficiency, reliability etc. In this paper, a MPM transmitter developed currently for an airborne EW system is discussed. Also the integration and evaluation of the transmitter on a fighter aircraft will be briefly presented.
