On the Topic Maps-Based Digital Library Knowledge Organization Model

This paper introduces the concept of Topic Maps and data models, and with a comparative analysis to organizations methods of traditional knowledge, it demonstrates the feasibility of Topic Maps in digital libraries knowledge of the organization. It puts forward a new digital library knowledge organization model based on the Topic Maps and checks the model by examples, which provides a strong support for specific application of the construction of digital library knowledge organization.
