Abstract :
Recently, high-resolution and high-contrast microwave imaging has been studied in early breast tumors detection. The Antenna design has an important role in this method. In this research we will present a comparison of double-ridged and quad-ridged horn antenna in the detection. Proposed antennas with a breast model are simulated with Ansoft HFSS. Both antennas demonstrate low return loss over 3-10 GHz. The capabilities of two antennas for detecting breast tumors are investigated through simulation.
