Abstract :
This paper presents the work being conducted in our laboratory on direct driving of HPM load using opening switch consisting of electrically exploding wire array. Using the opening switch, desired voltage profile required for driving the load has been achieved and HPM has been generated along with making the complete system compact and portable which otherwise is difficult to envisage.
