Abstract :
In this paper, we deal with stabilizability problems of linear discrete time-invariant MIMO systems with unknown plants under communication constraints between plants and controllers. The plants are assumed to include uncertainties not only in the initial state vector but also in system parameters. We show that the tight lower bound of the necessary capacity of the communication channel for the stabilizability is given only by unstable poles of the plants. We also introduce a set of a coder, a decoder, and a controller which is allowed to exchange information not only on the uncertain state vector but also on the uncertain system parameters and satisfies the stability of the closed loop systems when the condition is satisfied.
