Abstract :
The current version of the W-CDMA component of the upcoming third generation (3G) global mobile communication standard IMT-2000 includes the use, as uplink scrambling codes, of a family of low correlation quaternary sequences known as family S(2). A tutorial introduction to this sequence family is provided here
