Abstract :
Forwarding and control element separation (ForCES) architecture network devices can satisfy the requirements of reconstruction for the new generation of the Internet better. In this paper, the author proposes a design method of synthetic network management based on Forces protocol. This design method regards the managed devices as forwarding element (FE) in Forces architecture and uses management software of devices to abstract the definition of logic function block (LFB), then give a description to logic function by using XML file and develops specific operation program to all of operation interfaces that defined in XML file according to the definition of LFB. At last, let the network management platform be the control element (CE) in Forces architecture and make control to all LFB instances of multiple managed devices using Forces protocol.
