Abstract :
Bioremediation of petroleum polluted soil using combination of plant rye grass and effective microbial group was carried out by pot experiment. The results show the degradation rate of 58% using combined treatment of plant and microorganisms after 162 days with enhancing of total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) degradation by 17% as compared to the control. The lower pH value and higher enzyme activity in different bioremediation processes compared to blank suggests the effectiveness of combination of effective microorganisms with ryegrass. The fraction analysis indicates a priority of low molecular hydrocarbon degradation in combination of microorganisms and ryegrass, polar fraction degradation in phytoremediation, and aromatic fraction in microbial degradation.
