Dr. Ivan M.L. Sham [biography]

Summary form only given, as follows. A biography is presented of Dr. Ivan M.L. Sham. Dr Sham has extensive exposures in multinational research environment, including Japan, Korea and Germany. He also has broad experience in academia and industry, including visiting assistant professor (2003-04) at HKUST, research fellow at Freie Universitat Berlin (2005), senior R&D engineer (1998-2000, 2003), etc. He was the recipient of the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship, DAAD Scholarship and Croucher Foundation Post-doctoral Fellowship. Dr. Sham has published over 40 technical articles, in which over 20 are in international referred journals in the areas of electronic packaging, composite materials and biomechanics. Currently he is Manager at ASTRI and Project Leader of Automotive Electronics Program in ASTRI. He is also the Vice-chair of IEEE-CPMT Hong Kong Chapter 07-08.
