Abstract
An algorithm has been developed that will automatically determine the bit pattern of a binary communication signal (FSK, PSK, OOK). This algorithm uses edge detection, unsupervised clustering, and estimation techniques to extract the desired information from the communication signal. It has been tested against both synthetically generated modulating signals and digitized communication signals collected off the air
