Abstract :
Petri nets are based on a strong graphic representation. However, this quality has rarely been exploited. The authors discuss a graphic interface allowing one to visualize automatically Petri graphs defined under literal form. Indeed, graphic description of Petri nets has many advantages compared to literal description; it permits one to visualize the model and gives some help for phases of description, analysis and simulation. In this respect, we have developed a method which enable the representation of different Petri net models. This method is founded on the graphic hierarchization, then on the automatic display of Petri nets. We have also studied another problem concerning minimization of the crossings of edges; in this respect, we propose an adequate method
