Abstract :
For a flat fading code-division multiple-access (CDMA) system, by representing it as the appropriate system model consisting of state equation, multiplicative noise equation and the nonlinear measurement equation, an optimal filtering algorithm is used for joint recursive channel estimation and multiuser detection based on the established model. It should be stressed that the new algorithm is applicable to a major class of engineering problems with the same type of nonlinear system model with correlated noises. Simulation results show that the new algorithm performs better than the extended Kalman filter in faster convergence rate and lower bit error rate.
