Abstract
In recent years a class of natural algorithms for search and optimisation has been studied and is of great interest. Examples of these algorithms include genetic algorithms, simulated annealing and Darwinian adaptation. In this paper we focus on an initial study of a Darwinian adaptation method compared with the well-known least squares method for system identification and control
