Abstract :
The authors describe an experimental hardware system used to estimate the angles of arrival of multiple cochannel emitters. The system consists of a four-element phased array antenna and a personal computer housing four coherentized digital receivers. The digital receivers are used to capture signal snapshots that are subsequently processed by an adaptive beamforming algorithm implemented on the PC´s CPU. Experimental results using the system with the algorithm described by R. Gooch et al. (1990) are presented
