Abstract :
This paper described the implementation of a nonlinear estimator of induction motor rotor time constant inverse in FPGA devices using the Matlab Simulink environment and Xilinx System Generator (XSG) for DSP. This estimator will be used with the indirect rotor field oriented control (IRFOC) to improve induction motor performances.
