Abstract
We describe in this paper the development of new electronics allowing electrical stimulation during EEG (electroencephalogram) recording using a common electrode. Currently, there is no commercial product designed specifically to conduct such experiments. However, these experiments would advance investigations in several key research areas including Absence Epilepsy seizure suppression by neuro-stimulation. The proposed design is based on the use of commercially available components. The underlying idea is to make the system easy to replicate. The general context of this study is addressed here. The architecture of the developed system is illustrated and first results are presented and discussed. We propose finally some solutions to improve furthermore the proposed prototype.
