Abstract
An extension of the PO-MM hybrid formulation is presented for perfectly conducting flat polygonal parts of the scatterer by accounting for the edges of the body leading to an improved PO formulation. Two examples are presented showing the accuracy of the modified PO-current and application within the context of a hybrid method resulting in a drastic reduction of memory requirement and CPU-time
