Abstract :
Chaotic maps and their applications in watermarking algorithms aimed at achieving secure communications have attracted a growing interest recently. This is also the motivation behind this paper which investigates the properties of chaotic maps and develops a new technique based on embedding the binary watermark in wavelet coefficients. The guaranteed feature of this solution is robustness against different attacks. The proposed approach was simulated and the experimental results also validated its effectiveness and superior performance compared with other popular algorithms.
