Abstract :
Although a number of authors have considered the optimised design of planar Salisbury screen and Jaumann radar absorbers, little published information is available on such structures in nonplanar form. It is the aim of this paper, therefore, to present data on optimised designs of cylindrical Salisbury screens and to give a few examples of optimised wideband cylindrical Jaumann absorber designs. In the cylindrical absorber designs presented, only the sheet resistances have been optimised
