Abstract
A fully differential CMOS transresistance amplifier using cascode regulation for realizing low input impedance is presented. Fabricated in 0.5-μm CMOS, for a closed-loop transresistance of 30 kΩ, the amplifier has a measured 3-dB bandwidth of 7.5 MHz, SNR of 58 dB, and SFDR of 66 dB for a 600mVp-p output swing. Operating at a 3V supply, the amplifier dissipates 1.47 mW.
