Abstract :
Integrated circuit architectures for adaptive decision feedback equalizers are described. Each architecture accepts an analog input signal from a preceding forward equalizer and uses different amounts of analog circuitry. Advantages and disadvantages of each implementation are noted. The paper focuses on the disk-drive application
