Abstract :
The ldquoyellow waterrdquo phenomenon often appears when desalinated seawater entered the old ferruginous water supply systems. Therefore, different tubing water pipe-nets were used to simulate the desalinated seawater distribution process, change of water quality between raw water and pipe water was analyzed as well as the mechanism of ldquoyellow waterrdquo phenomenon. Also, the control indexes of desalinated seawater quality chemical stability were put forward, including pH, alkalinity, Langelier Saturation Index and Ryznar Index. Moreover, some measures to keep desalinated seawater quality stable were proposed in this paper.
